Morgedal Village
Morgedal is a small village in West Telemark 420m above sea level.
The village is known as "The Cradle of Skiing", thanks to Sondre Nordheim , the father of modern skiing, who was born and lived here. For the Winter Olympic Games of 1952, 1960 and 1994 The Olympic flame was lit at Øverbø, Sondre Nordheim's birthplace. There is a small supermarket nearby.

Accommodation
There are four traditional, wooden, one-roomed cabins which sleep four people. **
These are equipped with bunk beds, electric cookers, refridgerators and dining tables. Separate toilet block.
There is also one larger traditional log cabin **** with bathroom, hot shower, fully equipped kitchen, to sleep five people, (6 at a squeeze) pillows and duvets supplied. 100 kr per pers if you require bed linen.
Ideal for families.
This cabin is open all year round.
